Chaos Is A Friend Of Mine
Poetry My heart is breaking Over what, I'm unsure My heart is ever-aching Life is like a chore I have pain in my eyes And music in my soul It may come as a surprise I’m getting very old Chaos is a friend of mine That is my best bet Holy towers of ketamine Drown me til I’m wet Pain is all too commonplace, they’ve all said it before I went to some kind of place, of that I can’t ignore While my eyes well up like gusting wind and my soul twists and shouts, I’m not one to say the truth that no one hears about Life is all too short, I’m aging everyday And yet I can’t wait for the very end of today Why are love and grieving Complete opposites y’know, Better be giving than receiving Life’s a stage, a show So I’ll say my goodbyes now, farewell my faraway friend Take comfort knowing that This isn’t the end.
